Motorcycle Tours are too expensive

Organised Motorcycle Tours are expensive, this is a fact!

But Motorcycle Tours experts like Unicorn Adventures Ltd provide premium packages worth the price, but does anyone look forward to premium service?

For a given price yes one does deserve Premium service, but why not also offer a not so premium service and give people the chance to join a motorcycle tour at a different price? They will still enjoy the tour and have fun but with a different package!

This is why Unicorn Adventures Ltd has decided to create the MEDIUM package. You still get access to the superb Motorcycle Tours but the price has been taken down as the package is different.

Whats is included in the packages then:

BMW R1200GS Adventures: express your adventurer side!

L In the latest Box’RMag issue, a double spread is dedicated to the wonderful R1200GS Adventure, 2008 « cru ».

This motorcycle is a pure invitation to live freely out of towns but especially « (…) a motorcycle that you do have to assume and that is absolutely not made for dandies with pointed shoes and Armani suit».

    Everything’s clear now, isn’t it?!!! ;-)

F800GS soon no more a mystery!

A lot (well at least in the BMW motorcycle fan world) of us a wondering if there will be a F800GS.

Yes there will be one! It will be introduced at the November Milan show!

Pricing should be close to the F800ST one, chain drive, 21L tank and should be comfy for a 1m86 pilot!

    That's all we know!

    Admiration and disgust

During our « Alpine Passes Tour » we have the pleasure to climb over some special passes like the Izoard or the Galibier!

Climbing up those passes is already a nice piece of work with the motorcycle and requires the biker to work hard to perfectly ride the curves.

But we are always impressed to see the fellow cyclists who make, also on two wheels, but without an engine! What took us 20 minutes takes more than 3 hours on a bicycle!

Thos guys can be proud as the only drug they have is … pleasure!

They show you that you can get up those passes without being full with EPO or any other product! What a shame for those supposed professionals all more loaded than a chemical truck! Just to win a few seconds and a few more Euros on the Tour de France!

Not mentioning that they gloom so hard that riding close to them in the mountains is dangerous! Too much glooming in the dark kills your night vision!

    Marianne Weber: an impressive woman!

"Riding is the same as listening to music on stereo, you are really part of the environment ". Marianne Weber.

L In1944, Marianne Weber is 20. Imagine this young woman, her life… nothing to do with the young women we can meet nowadays. Nevertheless she was about to become a personality in the motorcycle world. Did she already have a feeling about it, days after the end of the WWII?

She decides to organise one of the first motorcycle rallies post war: The "Brabant-Ardenne" (between 135 and 155 miles, depending on the year). Preliminary Inspections of the route, map elaboration without any mistakes… of course men snigger before her first rally, expecting a lot of mistakes and problems. But she succeeds in surprising them. . Marianne’s objective is to finish in the shortest time. On her route, she uses paths that are not yet lanes, and lanes that will only become roads in some 10 or 20 years time. Mud tracks and potholes are on the agenda every year. "As soon as they arrived, most pilots went for a shower, all dressed. They had asked for beautiful and difficult routes, they got them. Year after year they came back to participate in the "Brabant-Ardenne" more and more numerous. I was the first motorcyclist woman post war. I was accepted ". R

From motorcyclist woman, Marianne becomes pilot woman. She beats the Belgian speed record, against well-known male pilots. When she doesn’t participate in rallies, she rides in Europe and Africa. Talking about Africa, she remembers a flat tyre in the desert, 350 miles from the nearest village ! "I chewed a whole pack of chewing-gum for a very long time and I filled in the internal tear in the tyre. As soon as it was hard enough, thanks to the sun shining, I could finish the leg ".

She has a really busy life: travels very far from home, rallies and works in technical fields in Belgium factories. Belgium, French and British motorcyclist press appreciate her technical and tourist reports. In the official international Motorcyclist Federation magazines or even in the international press, her articles are on the same pages as ones of male pilots, photographers or well-known journalists of international fame.
